Members of the project’s research team from the Technical University of Crete and CERTH participated in the 32nd FAIM 2023 (International Conference on Flexible Automation and Intelligent Manufacturing) in Porto, Portugal.
The conference focused on building bridges for more sustainable production systems, emphasizing themes such as automation and robotics, manufacturing processes and optimization, mechanical design, CAD/CAM/CAE, advanced material processing and characterization, and cutting-edge measurement techniques, among others.
The team’s work titled “An innovative platform for designing & rapid virtual prototyping of garments: the case of i-Mannequin” was included in the Special Volume of Conference Proceedings by Springer Lecture Notes in Mechanical Engineering
