Members of the project’s research team from the Technical University of Crete and CERTH participated as Authors at the 14th International Conference and Exhibition on 3D Body Scanning and Processing Technologies, presenting a paper titled “3D Scanning Technology for the Rapid Modelling of Fashion Clothing” in Technical Session 13: 3D/4D Technologies for Apparel.
Two of the team members chaired Technical Sessions. The conference proceedings were published in a volume, and all speeches were recorded and accessible to attendees for one month. The contribution aimed to connect with other academic institutions and scientists in body and clothing scanning to achieve greater dissemination of the project’s results to major organizations involved in body imaging, proper clothing fit, motion scanning, innovation, creation, and clothing
