Members of the project’s research team from the Technical University of Crete, CERTH, and Beetroot participated as speakers at PI Apparel Europe, presenting “i-Mannequin, Digital Platform for the Design and Virtual Rapid Garment Prototyping”. PI Apparel Europe brings together leading minds from fashion, clothing, and footwear to discuss industry challenges and technologies. Participants explored strategies and technologies used by some of the world’s most progressive companies. The presentation was open to registered event members, and the recorded version was accessible to registrants post-conference. Due to the companies’ particular interest in the i-Mannequin, announced through the agenda and a special app developed by the organizers, meetings for the project were organized on Sunday, 02/04.
